Data storage revolution

The Japanese company Hitachi recently released something that could change the future of data storage. The company created a small square of quartz that could store data for “millions of years” as it is almost indestructible, being water-, shock- and heat-resistant.

A solution to the fragility and quick obsolescence of most current hardware in a world where the amount of data keeps increasing!
